Wouldn’t you rather be Out with friends than watching "Friends"?
Staying in to watch TV is ok now and again. In fact, after a few busy days working and a number of good nights out, it can be the perfect rest cure.
However, vegging out on the sofa for days on end is not really the way ahead and it’s not going to improve your life experience or help you make the most of our incredible capital city.
As far as London is concerned, there’s a lot more to socialising than perhaps you think. Hooking up with old college mates, visiting relatives or going for a team drink after work are all fine as far as it goes. But it’s not expanding your social circle or helping you meet new people and make new friends. So where do you find the opportunity to do all this?
Events & Friends to the rescue! We have realised that busy lifestyles and demanding jobs can leave people in a bit of a rut, making it difficult for them to organise their social lives and to get the most out of our exciting capital.
Members, with often-hectic schedules, are attracted by the idea of joining other culturally curious people at these original, relaxing and popular events at thoughtfully selected venues.
Events & Friends members can all contact one another online and offline to organise things together. Be it to find the right squash partner or someone with whom it would be enjoyable to have a drink. We’re not a dating agency and believe that romance still is best-discovered offline. (As it was in the good old days!) Remember; there is no love online!
Our members are mostly professionals and range from doctors to fire-fighters and from writers to company executives. Aged generally from their mid-twenties upwards, they are all young at heart, culturally curious and dying to meet you!
So if you are new to London (or have lived here for years and tired of its charms) this is the ideal way of expanding your horizons and living life to the full. With the wide range of handpicked events we provide, there’s something for everybody. Enough to persuade even serial ‘couch potatoes’ to get off the sofa and join in!
